Dear Parents/Carers,
As we finish on a wonderfully festive and productive term, we want to extend a huge thank you to all our families for your incredible support over the last few months. It has been a term filled with learning, laughter, and a true sense of Christmas spirit!
A Look Back at a Wonderful Term
This term has been a great success across all year groups:
Festive Highlights
The final weeks of the term have been truly magical, thanks to the hard work of our staff, the enthusiasm of the children, and the incredible support of our whole school community.
- Rocking Around the Christmas Tree: A HUGE thank you must go to our dedicated PTA – PALS! They not only organised a wonderful Christmassy event but also sourced and decorated our magnificent Christmas Tree, transforming the school hall into a festive wonderland. The children also had a wonderful surprise visit from Father Christmas, this was a very special treat.
- KS1 Nativity Success: We were completely mesmerized by the talent and effort shown by our younger pupils in the Nativity. A big thank you goes to our EYFS and KS1 teachers and teaching assistants who worked tirelessly with the children to create an amazing Nativity performance that truly warmed our hearts.
- KS2 Carol Service: Our older pupils did us proud! Our KS2 children performed a beautiful and moving Carol Service at St. Mary’s Church, showcasing their stunning voices and professionalism.
- School Pantomime Magic: Our school pantomime was a joyous occasion enjoyed by all, providing a perfect and hilarious way to usher in the holidays, thank you to PALS for sponsoring this event.
- Rudolph Run for a Great Cause: The whole school has taken action at the end of term and this was full of festive cheer and rosy cheeks as we completed the Rudolph Run, successfully raising vital awareness and funds for the brilliant Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice. Thank you for your sponsorship! So far, we have raised over £740, there is still time to donate by clicking on the link: https://www.justgiving.com/page/lspa-rudolph-run
- Christmas Jumper Day & Dinner: Thank you to everyone who participated in Christmas Jumper Day! It was lovely to see all the children in the Christmas spirit, enjoying their festive attire and a delicious school Christmas Dinner.

- Count and calculate: Practice math skills through cooking, shopping, or board games.
- Get outdoors: Enjoy the winter weather and time together as a family.
We wish all our families a wonderful, restful, and joyful Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to welcoming the children back, refreshed and ready for a new term, on Tuesday 6th January.
Best wishes for the festive season,
