Help with using Portable Document Files (PDFs)
We are in the process of moving away from PDFs, however, there are some areas that we are unable or haven’t found a suitable solution yet. In order to read these documents you’ll need to have Adobe Reader® on your computer. If you don’t have Adobe Reader, you can get it free from the Adobe website. To read PDFs with a screen reader you can link to the Access Adobe website which provides useful tools and resources.
If you are unable to read these documents please contact accessibility@latrust.org.uk
PDFs such as Newsletters are being moved over to a more mobile-friendly and accessible HTML format. This new format is fully compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard.
Documents granted exemptions
In some circumstances as part of our statutory duties, we are required by law to publish certain documents on our website. Some of these documents may not meet accessibility requirements. This is due to; the document being provided to us by a third party, the document is sent to us in a format that we are not allowed to change, or the original document has been signed, scanned in and uploaded as an image to our website.
