Dear Parent/Carer,
I am pleased to say that we have had a very successful start to the term. The children are demonstrating great focus and are really settling into their new classes. I would like to share some key dates and information with you, as we work together to support your child’s learning and development.
We will be holding our first Parents’ Evening of the year in October, which will be an opportunity to meet with your child’s class teacher, this first meeting is for five minutes and the focus will be on how they are settling-in, enabling us to discuss how your child is adapting to their new environment. Following this, there will be a more detailed appointment later in the year held in class, to discuss your child’s progress in greater depth.
I encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities to engage with your child’s education. Your involvement is invaluable, and together we can ensure that each child is supported in their learning journey.
Further details concerning specific dates and times for the Parents’ Evening will be sent out shortly.
On Monday the teachers will share information about the curriculum in your child’s year group – this information will then be added to the website under the curriculum tab on the class page so you can access the information afterwards.
