Leigh Stationers’ Primary Academy Maintains Outstanding Standards in All Areas in Recent Ofsted
Leigh Stationers’ Primary Academy has successfully upheld its exceptional educational standards as confirmed by a recent Ofsted inspection conducted on 15th and 16th October 2024. The inspection affirmed that the Academy continues to provide an outstanding education for all its pupils.
The Ofsted report praises the Academy’s commitment to fostering an inclusive, safe and stimulating environment where pupils thrive. “Pupils love coming to Leigh Stationers’ Primary Academy. The school is determined to help them become thoughtful, well-rounded individuals,” stated the report. The inspectors further noted that “staff have high expectations, and pupils are motivated to live up to them. They also commended the exemplary behaviour of pupils, mentioning that “pupils treat each other with great care and consideration and are committed to making the school a happy place for all.” One pupil expressed their enthusiasm, saying, “I love coming to this school every single day.”
Reflecting on the achievement, Rebecca England, Principal of Leigh Stationers’ Primary Academy, commented,

The report further highlighted the Academy’s high standards in literacy, numeracy and personal development. Pupils are well-prepared for their future educational journey, with strong skills and a solid foundation for academic success. “Pupils excel in their learning, work hard, and take pride in their achievements. They produce work to a high standard and engage enthusiastically with a variety of wider experiences,” Ofsted noted.
