Dear Parent/Carers,
It has been an action-packed half-term; the children have been actively learning through their PYP themes and taking independent action. Thank you for all of your kind donations for the Bexley Food Bank. Year Six organised the display in the hall and then helped to load up the van! International Day was a great success with many parents visiting the classes and giving the children a small insight into their heritage. The exhibition in the library was very popular.
We have also had inter-school events such as LAT Rugby taking place and the Stationers’ Football team have got off to a good start winning the BPS FA small schools cup for Bexley, I can’t wait for the next round.
Victorian Day – in Year Six
Action: Year 6 held a cake sale to raise money for Barnardo’s Children’s Charity.
Raised: £324.09p
Roman Day – In Year Four
Tower of London visit – Year Two
Stone-age visit to Tump 53 – Year Three
Football – Stationers’ Primary – Have started the season successfully winning a small school’s tournament at Goals in Bexleyheath. Come on, you blues!
Action: Children took part in a debate about whether Henry VIII was a hero or villain. Henry was tried at court and each child took on a role.
International Day – a day of celebration sharing our heritage and culture.
